These General Terms and Conditions of Use govern access to and use of the NICE CITY GUIDE APP mobile application (hereinafter "the Application"). By downloading or using the Application, you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms and Conditions of Use.
1. Purpose of the application
The app allows users to follow tourist routes by bike or electric scooter, starting from the city of Nice and exploring its surroundings. Explanatory audio content is available at each point of interest, and the routes are offered with varying levels of detail and duration.
2. Access to the application
The application is available for free via download platforms (App Store / Google Play). Its use requires:
A compatible device
An active internet connection
Enabling geolocation for certain features
The user is responsible for the operational status of their equipment and internet subscription.
3. Use of services
The User agrees to use the Application:
In accordance with applicable laws
For strictly personal and non-commercial purposes
Without disrupting the operation of the Application or its services
The user remains solely responsible for their behavior in public. The Application publisher cannot be held liable in the event of an accident, violation, or dangerous behavior.
4. Intellectual Property
All content within the Application (text, audio, maps, images, logos, etc.) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation, or use without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Application publisher cannot be held liable in the event of:
Misuse of the Application
Location or route errors
Internet connection malfunctions
Damage related to the use of personal vehicles (bicycle, scooter, etc.)
The use of the Application remains entirely at the user's own risk.
6. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
These Terms of Use may be modified at any time. The user will be notified of any important updates via the Application or download platforms.
7. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law . In the event of a dispute, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction where the Application publisher's registered office is located.
